Cetremonium Chloride

Cetrimonium chloride is a quaternary ammonium used in cosmetics for its antistatic properties. It is a cationic surfactant and therefore dissipates water and oil, thus promoting a soft and pleasant consistency. This ingredient is often used in hair care products instead of, and sometimes in combination with, silicones.
